Landsat Imaging

The Landsat program is the longest continuous global record of the Earth’s surface, and continues to deliver both visually stunning and scientifically valuable images of our planet.

In this video montage we are introduced to a range of imaging processes and applications that the Landsat project has utilised over the past decades to help us understand and respond to Earth’s changing land, water and air. Never before have we seen our planet in such detail or scale. Landsat imaging is a vital component in developing knowledge and solutions to the growing problem of urban heat islands.
